IBO Player Pro
- 1.Search the Roku Channel Store for IBO Player Pro and add it.
- 2.Open it and go to Account. Note the MAC address and the Device Key shown there.
- 3.On a phone or a computer, open iboproapp.com, choose Manage Playlists and sign in with that MAC address and Device Key.
- 4.Choose Add XC Playlist, give it any name, and enter the server, username and password from your WhatsApp message.
- 5.Back on the Roku, restart the app and choose the playlist you just added.
Tip. The app is free for seven days and then a one-off payment on iboproapp.com using the same MAC address and Device Key. Twelve months of it come with the 12-month plan.
Casting from a phone
- 1.Install Web Video Cast on an Android or iOS phone.
- 2.Open the menu, choose IPTV and add your playlist address.
- 3.Tap the cast icon and select the Roku. Both must be on the same Wi-Fi.
IBO Player Pro is the Roku route, and casting from a phone covers the rest. Samsung and LG TVs are a little more open, and a Firestick gives you every player for a few dollars. Read the channel list before you set up.
