Best IPTV Service on a MAG box

A MAG box uses no username or password. It is tied to its own MAC address, so that gets registered first and the portal fills up afterwards.

Register the MAC address

It is printed on the label under the box and shown in System Settings, in the form 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX. Send it to us on WhatsApp before anything else, because nothing loads until it is registered.

Open the portal settings

  1. 1.When the box has started, open Settings, or press SETUP or SET on the remote.
  2. 2.Choose System Settings, then Servers, then Portals.

Enter the portal URL

  1. 1.Portal 1 Name: any name you like.
  2. 2.Portal 1 URL: the portal address from your WhatsApp message.
  3. 3.Press OK to save.

Set the time server and restart

  1. 1.In System Settings, open the time or NTP section.
  2. 2.Type in us.pool.ntp.org, or pool.ntp.org if you are outside North America.
  3. 3.Leave the settings and choose Restart Portal.
Tip. An unset time server is the usual reason a MAG shows a blank guide. The box needs the correct time to line programs up with channels.

MAG boxes activate by MAC, which is why the address comes first. Formuler boxes work the same way through MYTV Online, and BuzzTV boxes use a nearly identical portal setup. Read the channel list before buying hardware.
